United for Girls

A brand activation about making soccer more accessible

Soccer in the United States is not as accessible as it should be. The club soccer system has a rigid financial barrier to entry that is prohibitively expensive for many girls. Adidas was a founding partner of United for Girls to try and correct this problem, and asked us to activate to celebrate the new partnership.

We hosted 100+ underserved girls in the LA area for a day of play, inviting them to find fun new ways to play soccer, inspired by the resourceful and boundariless approach to the game that is seen in the rest of the world.

The kids got to meet and play with USWNT athletes, invent their own games, and play on soccer pitches designed to break the rules and make soccer fun and creative. Each girl also got a roll of tape and a ball so they can make their own goals and pitches in their own neighborhood.
